Dear God, you created us to be perfect, prosperous, and happy, but for our sinfulness, we are far from being all these: we pray You, o lord, have mercy upon us and restore us to our original design - body, soul and spirit - and bring us to that fulfilling and joyful life that You planned for us to the honour and praise of your holy name. Amen.
