Brief Profile: Brief Profile of Michael Adedoyin Ogun I was born into the family of Late Michael Adebayo and Late Omowunmi Adedolapo Ogun on the 22nd of May 1977 in Lagos. I was baptised and confirmed in the Cathedral Church of Christ. I am married to Feyisike and we are parents to a girl and boy. I spent my formative years from nursery to secondary school in Lagos before gaining admission into the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife where I graduated with a degree in Geology. I also hold an MBA from the Lagos Business School and currently a Doctoral Student at the Lagos Business School. I have spent the last 25 years working in the various parts of the petroleum sector with a two year break working in the mobile telecommunications service sector. I currently hold a senior management position leading strategy, business development and overall responsibility for financial performance. I am a member of the Guild of Stewards, the Cathedral Christian Brothers, where I currently serve as Vice President and the Cathedral Torch Bearers. I also serve on the Cathedral Finance and General Purpose Committee, 157 Bamgbose Street Building Subcommittee as the Secretary. On the social side, I am a member of the Ikoyi Club.

Why Serve: I want to continue to serve to contribute my quota to the long term growth and development of our Cathedral by bringing my experience to bear on the affairs of our Church and place her in rightful place as the Mother Church of our Communion.
